A short biography. My career started in South Africa as an apprentice. I learnt the old school way where we still had to manufacture our needles and sterilize them. Not much information could be found in those days as the techniques and knowledge was guarded and not freely given. Equipment was also very difficult to get. I have always been naturally artistic so when I graduated school I got a scholarship to study graphic design. I realized soon that graphic design was not the path I wanted to follow so it was at that point that I was guided towards tattooing. The second I start my first tattoo in a professional environment I knew I would do it for the rest of my life. Over my 23 year career I have been fortunate to work in different countries with many different artists. I have won some awards and also I attended and worked at many tattoo conventions including the prestigious London tattoo convention and Brighton convention. Tattooing gives me a sense of wellbeing so its impossible to not want to create a tattoo. I love realistic styles and I also love Neo Japanese, Neo tribal, black work, surrealism and so on. I enjoy nature and music as well as sculpting and painting. Im very down to earth and if you have a great tattoo idea you will definitely know. Hope to see you for your next tattoo.
